Aircraft digital flight-control: Airplane cockpit control 08/10

aircraft-control-system-20131228-8
The Tejas aircraft wing trailing edge is occupied by two-segment elevons to provide pitch and roll airplane cockpit control. The only empennage-mounted cockpit control surfaces are the single-piece rudder and two airbrakes located in the upper rear part of the aircraft fuselage, one each on either side of the fin.

The coherent pulse-Doppler Multi-Mode Aircraft Radar in development is designed to keep track of a maximum of 10 air targets and allows simultaneous multiple-target engagement. Jointly developed by the LRDE and HAL Hyderabad, the MMR is being designed to perform multi-target search, track-while-scan (TWS), and ground-mapping functions.
